This video shows a cut from my work Kontakte (Contacts), an endlessly generated animation of names that hit each other. The names are coming from a digital version of the phonebook for whole germany from 2016. Every name gets a random body weight, direction and initial speed. How often they reappear on the screen is defined by a random number of lives they got on their creation. If they hit each other hard, they lose one life instantly, if they hit soft, they get one more.
